Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LADY MEDICAL: This three year old girl is small-medium at 30 lb. She is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on all shots, dewormed and flea tx. Temperament is very friendly to everyone including strangers and loves kids. No trouble getting her into a crate. She is high energy when she first comes out of the shelter cage but settles right down on the lead after a short walk. At adoption events she lays quietly by her cage next to the kittens. Ok with other dogs and cats.
LADY'S STORY: She was picked up as a stray so her background is uncertain. Housetrained so probably inside dog. She has done very well with socialization by the volunteers at this rural high kill shelter that has minimal adoption traffic. The shelter is an old garage with poor ventilation and drainage. With only 11 cages, the shelter can fill quickly and they kill for space here. So it is always a race with the clock to get animals out of this filthy, smelly environment. Lady's sunny personality makes her an excellent candidate for adoption. She loves to be petted and would like to have her own toys. She loves to go on walks and would love to go for a walk to your car and on to her forever home WITH YOU!! Lady is currently located in Desoto County, MS., but transport to Chicago or Northeast can bearranged through Animal Rescue Front.
