Carrie is an adorable little Feist mix, approx. 20lbs, who was rescued from a roadside ditch as a puppy... almost a year ago. All of her siblings have been adopted, and Carrie was as well, but was returned when her owner's husband was deployed. She is a happy-go-lucky, high energy girl who was reportedly excellent with her prior owner's three young children (including a toddler). She also loves other dogs (I've never met a dog she doesn't like) and is gentle with cats; by all accounts a great family dog and has the energy to keep up with children. Carrie is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and also loves to run in a yard with other dogs. She is such a "Velcro dog" that if you give her a whistle, she'll follow you about anywhere, leash or no. Carrie is microchipped, spayed, UTD on shots, HW- and on preventives, dewormed, and on Comfortis for fleas. You can't tell from her picture as it was shortly after her return and she was feeling a bit
