MARCI's Story...
Sweet Marci was turned in to a horrible kill shelter in rural TN by a man that we know treated this sweet soul poorly. She was dirty and matted and had skin problems that should not have existed in such a young girl. A pure bred small German Shepherd girl, Marci is only 10 months old and weighs 44 pounds, mostly skin and bones but gaining weight at the right pace in her new foster home. She is with a German Shepherd savvy family and they adore her. She is very timid and has been yelled at we know. She will stay right by your side, and will love you and be your most devoted companion in life. Not one ounce of alpha or aggression in her at all. She is housetrained but not crated right now. We know that she spent a lot of time outside in a kennel at the former home. She is still in the puppy stages and needs appropriate things to chew and a soft but strong leader to guide her through life. She would be a great family pet with children as well. She may top out at 65 pounds as a healthy adult. All in all this girl Marci is a sweetheart of a German Shepherd and we intend to find her a fabulous home filled with love and voices that comfort and guide her to confidence in life. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MARCI, a Salem German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Salem, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
