Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LILY: Looking like a mini mix of lots of breeds, this sweet girl is a dreamboat of a dog! She has just enough independence to entertain herself in the yard with a toy but is overjoyed when a human comes on in to interact with her…..her head goes low and her tail starts to wag like crazy as she runs over to you. She can soak up affection and be calm but also loves to romp and play if you are up for it!
Often dogs like Lily get overlooked because they are not overpowering in looks or personality but she is just an all around really cool dog and is even small enough for apartment life. She has wonderful leash manners as well as very appropriate play skills, even when one of our trainers gets super goofy with her, she just keeps her fun-loving demeanor and is not mouthy or rough at all.
She would be a great dog around kids and although she can walk past other dogs and be near to the dogs in the shelter, she has not been able to make any canine friends so we would like to place her as an only dog.
She seemed to do just fine with cats and could likely be in a home with a feline or two without any trouble. If you are looking for a real sweet canine companion in a small package, then you absolutely MUST meet Lily! She is spayed,up to date on vaccinations and ready to curl up in the back of your car for her freedom ride……..
