Rocki's Story...
Rocky belonged to people that just let her run loose. When she was picked up by animal control they went out and got another puppy. They didn't even check to see if she was ok. Rocky is about 3 months old, a heeler mix, and a very pretty unusual color. She's partially blue tick, and partially brindle, with a little red tick thrown in for color. She's smart, gentle and friendly. She'll have all her puppy shots, her rabies shot and a certificate for spaying when she goes home. She's a great dog that deserves a better chance at life than her first owners were willing to give her

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocki, a Santa Clara Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Santa Clara, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Santa Clara.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Clara already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Clara breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Clara paves the way for another one to be saved.
