SWEETYDate of birth: 03/24/2011Domestic Shorthair/ Mix, Black.Sweety was abandoned on the shelter property in April 2011.She has unique, pretty silver markings that have become more pronounced as she matures. She may have some Siamese in her. When she first came to the shelter she has taken care of some younger male kittens and was a good big sister for them. She is a shy kitty and would prefer a calm environment.

We are a private funded, non-profit limited intake no kill shelter that has been serving the county for over 30 years.

Our hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 4:30 pm.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption application be filled out (can be done on-line). Allow 3 business days to process. Contact the shelter to check on status of application. Upon approval fees are $75 for a cat and $125 for a dog which includes vaccinations, altering . Renters need to demonstrate approval of landlord to have pets. Home visit may be done at the discretion of the shelter. Our adoption contract specifies adopters must comply with local animal ordinances and have pet neutered if not already done. Animals must be returned to us if owner is no longer able to care for them
