found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Jaxx is a well behaved 5 years old purebred neutered male Brussels Griffon. He has been very well cared for his entire life and is social with people and other dogs.
Jaxx is shy at first and will take a while to warm up to new people. He is an affectionate and loving companion to his owner and people he knows. He is quite a character with a good temperament and good sense of humor. Jaxx likes to butt bump for attention. He likes to watch TV with you. He will sometimes bark at the other animals he sees on the screen. We have just discovered he LOVES to play with small tennis balls - chasing them and bringing them back.
Jaxx will bond very closely with his person and will require another small dog in his new home he can bond to. He loves to cuddle and lean up against his person and will want to share physical contact with his new pet companion too. He has learned to walk well on a leash, additionally, he would prefer to have a fenced yard of his own to share with his new dog buddy. Jaxx is verbal, so would not be a good fit in an apartment or condo where barking will be a problem.
The foundation of a good owner and life will help him transition easily into a new home. Brussels Griffon do best in homes with an owner who wants a close relationship with their pet and has time to give one.
Jaxx weighs 9.8 pounds. He likes food and will eat all of his and the other dog's too, so meals must be monitored. He is eating a high quality grain free food. He has been altered, and he is up to date on his vaccines. Jaxx is not microchipped and his birthdate is 5/3/09. He is fostered in Montara, CA. in Half Moon Bay (Northern CA) and we are looking for a serious adopters only for Jaxx to find his permanent home.
We prefer to place Jaxx close to where he is being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to drive in or fly in, and he can only fly home in the cabin with his new family. Under no circumstances can our dogs ever be shipped in cargo. We do not place our dogs in homes with invisible (electric) fencing or young children.
