My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jak is a Dalmatian Mix male who was confiscated by the authorities in Miami-Dade. He’s 5 years and one month old, weighs about 60 pounds (can’t keep him still long enough to get a weight!!!) and he LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to chase a tennis ball.

He was heart worm positive but a very low grade and has been treated. He will end his restricted activity on September 5th. He’s a very intelligent boy with a great deal of energy. You can just see the love of fun on his face. He likes to give kisses but they are short, sweet and to the point because he’s off, racing to whatever fun he can find next. He will jump up into your lap (yes, all 60lbs of him) but he is by no means a lapdog. He has no time for that. Sleeps like a lamb, eats very well and due to his restricted activity, he’s gotten the hang of potty training but may need further reinforcement.
