Maverick is a male Shih Tzu only 1 year in age. He is a pretty black and white color with silky soft fur that is non-shedding. Maverick has been professionally groomed and currently has a short summer haircut. Maverick is a stocky, hefty size weighing in at 14 pounds full grown. He is a jolly boy, social and friendly with everyone. Maverick walks easily on leash, rides beautifully in the car, and likes to go for strolls through the neighborhood. He is well behaved in public and greets other people and dogs appropriately. Maverick is mellow and sweet, with an easy going way about him. He loves treats and having his head stroked. He likes the company of other dogs and would do well with a doggie companion in the household. Maverick likes to hang out, but will play on occasion if the mood strikes him. He is healthy, perky, and truly adorable especially when his pink little tongue sticks a little bit out of his mouth. Maverick was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued him. He is going to make a wonderful pet and companion. Maverick is ready for his new, loving, forever home today!
Maverick’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Maverick is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Mary B. and is ready for his forever home.
