Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Trevor has been through so much and he totally pulls at my heartstrings. He was found on the streets with no id what so ever on him.. He was very matted and over grown. The person who found him searched for an owner but typical of a dog found they couldn't be located. The person who found hin couldn't keep him and give him to someone she worked with. After 4 days of having him she called my rescue, saying she couldn't keep him because her apt complex wouldn't allow it. So off to my home for a night before he was placed in his foster home.. This is what I saw in that one night I had him.
He is such a precious loving soul who truly only wants your love.. At first he was somewhat unsure who I was and a little stand offish. He is confident little boy who needs a pack leader. I didn't push him at all and gave him time to trust. By the end of that one night his head was on my shoulder and he would just stare at me with those eyes as if to say, thank you. He was always by my side. He barked at night because he wanted to be next to me and once I did that, he quickly curled up by my side and was fast asleep. He is not a fan of crates at all and just doesn't want to be in one. Trevor got an A+ with all of my dogs in the home. He didn't challenge any of them even though he wasn't neutered at the time, and accepted them as if he knew them for for years. By that afternoon he was sleeping among my pack as if they were all friends. He is such a good boy and will be extremely loyal to the person who takes care of him. He had no accidents in my house while being here. The next morning he was off to the vet to be neutered and have everything he needed taken care of. His new foster mom picked him up and he is now in his foster home. We already miss the little guy with the big brown eyes.
Trevor is about 2 years old and weighs 12lbs so he is an easy guy to handle.
He's been through 4 places in such a short time, and I am anxious to get him in to a permanent home where he will know the feeling of forever. That little guy can talk with those big brown eyes of his and they say so much to you. He is going to make a wonderful friend for someone and I think it would be great for him to have at least one other dog. I think he would do best with older children only. If you think that this special soul could be the one for you, just give me a call to set up a time to meet him. I am sure you'll fall in love as fast as I did..
