Ella's Story...
**SPECIAL THANKS TO A DBC ANGEL FOR SPONSORING ELLA WHILE SHE IS IN OUR PROGRAM**

Ella is a very gentle girl with soulful eyes. She has been through a lot in her short life and is slowly coming out of her shell to realize her full potential as a great companion. She prefers the comfort of her daily routine and likes to be around her people in familiar surroundings. She would flourish even more with a family who is willing to take the time to get to know her and assure her that she is safe. She is about 4 years old and weighs around 45 pounds.

If you would like to meet Ella, please fill out the adoption application at www.dbcdogs.org

Adoption fee: $150 includes microchip, crate, vaccinations, rabies certificate, spay/neuter, and 12 months of training (as needed) after the adoption is complete.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ella, a Lapeer American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Lapeer, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Lapeer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lapeer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lapeer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lapeer paves the way for another one to be saved.
