My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is “IKE”. It’s an American name and means, He will laugh. Ike is one of the friendliest and silliest german shepherds we have had yet. He runs and jumps and rolls over and does figure eights in the yard, and then starts all over again. This youngster came up from the south to learn manners and find a fun loving, energetic family. We estimate him to be around 12-14months, fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and will be a mid size gent of about 70lbs when he is around 2-3yrs old. He has a great start in training, but needs to continue and have a job to channel the energy and develop a healthy brain. As Aunt Kathy says, there are usually no real active brain cells making any sense at his age. Small children and cats are not recommended for Ike. He is learning to play nice with the other dogs in foster care and only older well balanced dogs will be able to tolerate his shenanigans and rough house playing. His good looks and perpetual smile will melt your heart. If you are up to a challenge and need a jogging mate or want to do agility, come meet this boy named Ike.
