Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Martin - 2 year old male Schnauzer. Martin is a larger boy and looks like he could possibly be a mini/standard schnauzer. He was rescued from an LA city shelter where he came in as a stray and was in danger of being euthanized because of his injuries. He was brought into the shelter with a make shift splint made of cardboard and zip ties on his front right leg. We took him to our vet for x-rays and assessment, the vet said it was an old break that had healed over and the bone would need to be re-broken and repaired with plates/screws. Martin is having surgery September 3rd and is expected to have a 6-8 week recovery period. Prognosis is good that he should fully recover and regain usage of his leg. Martin currently is about 22 pounds and underweight.. we think he will be 25+ pounds.
