Zeus is a very handsome 2 to 3 year old yellow Labrador Retriever. He weighs in at 80 lbs. Zeus was an owner surrender, most likely because of the seriousness of his hip issues. Lucky Lab Rescue raised funds and had both of Zeus's hips repaired surgically. Zeus is now in a great foster home and his foster dad truly adores this big boy. Zeus is a sweet loving, happy dog, but he can sound a little intimidating when he is meeting someone new on the street. He has been friendly to everyone, but he does sound intimidating with his bark. Zeus is also exuberant when meeting someone in the house and can be very excited, but does calm down and relaxes. Zeus is a medium energy boy. He has been on limited activity most of the time he has been in his foster home because of the surgeries. Now that he is recovered from the surgeries, he seems a little more energetic. He does calm down nicely in the house Zeus does very well with other dogs after the initial meeting and really wants to play with the kitties but because of his size might hurt them. Zeus is housebroken, working on basic commands and is a great boy to have around. Zeus plays with his tennis balls in the house, picking one up, circling, dropping the first and picking the second one up and then repeating the sequence. He loves playing in the yard, going for walks although he could use some work on the leash, and loves cuddling in the evening with his people. He is a great boy who is hoping to find his forever home real soon. Zeus has been neutered, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and is micro-chipped.
