Sammy's Story...
Sammy is a 4 year old white husky who has not had an easy life, but despite that, he loves people and is an overall great dog. We think Sammy's owners took him in and socialized him as a young pup, but then one of the family members got sick and Sammy got to be too much work, so he was tied to a pole in a barn for many years. But, Sammy seems to have adjusted just fine and is loving life again with people everyday. Sammy periodically goes to doggie daycare and loves other others. He is a big dog (about 100 lbs) so he can unintentionally knock small kids over, otherwise he is fine with kids. Such a gorgeous boy. His fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a La Crosse Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in La Crosse, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in La Crosse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Crosse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Crosse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Crosse paves the way for another one to be saved.
