My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chuck is about 2 years old. Despite a bit of a tough past, this handsome guy has a ton of love to give. He loves people (loves to rest his head on your lap and have his belly rubbed) and has really bonded to my 15 year old son. They spend most of the day together and even share a bed a night. Chuck really needs a boy of his own and would do well in a family who is active as he is very athletic! Chuck has learnt to sit, lay down and shake a paw in the short time he has been with us. He likes to run and play fetch-although he forgets to bring it back sometimes! He is now kennel trained and walking on a leash with very little pulling. He is good with other dogs (there are 3 other dogs where he lives currently) and loves to play with them. He struggled with manners in the house at first-he would jump on everything- but with some basic training he has learnt quickly and rarely jumps on anything now. He has never had an accident in the house-NEVER! Chuck does prefer to be close to "his people" and sometimes gets anxious if he can't see you-he whines sometimes. He barks when people come to the door but never for no reason. He has been around small children and does well. His previous owners had a cat and we are told he was good with it.
