The adoption fee for all cats ages two and older (any color) and cats that are primarily black (any age) is currently only $17! Black, adult, and senior cats are traditionally the least likely cats to be adopted. Many of them experience lengthy stays in foster care before finding their forever home. Adult cats are often overlooked in favor of kittens. However, they have just as much love to give. We’d love to CHANGE THEIR LUCK this March!
This promotion applies to all primarily black (any age) and adult or senior cats (any color) adopted in March 2017 and to any adoption applications received for these fosters through March 31, 2017. Not only can you change their luck – you can change their life!
Approx DOB: May 2010
Hi, I'm JJ! I am the sweetest cat you will ever meet, even though I have had a hard life. I was left in a pet carrier out in the freezing cold at the Flying J truck stop (which is how I got my name). Luckily someone found me and I was warmed up and taken to Furry Friends and am now safe in a foster home. Even so, I am sad, because I have to stay in a separate room from everyone else because I can’t eat the food that the other cats are eating. This is because I have a food allergy. I am perfectly healthy because I am eating a special food, but because of this allergy, I am not able to get the attention and love that I crave. If you adopt me, I promise I will give you my undivided attention. I would love to sit next to you and snuggle with you. Because I don’t get much attention in the foster home I am in, I am waiting every day for someone to take me home with them so that I can snuggle and cuddle all day long. The best home for me would be one with no other cats and a home where my person would be home a lot, since I just love attention so much. The nice people at Furry Friends will even work with you to help with the special food that I need to eat. I am sitting here alone in my room, just waiting for you to take me home with you. Please please don’t pass me up. I promise I will give you lots and lots of love!
This kitty has had initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and been micro-chipped and altered (or will be micro-chipped and altered prior to adoption).
Adoption fee is 1/2 off for the second kitty adopted at same time. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax).
If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / ADOPT tab / CAT Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
