Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB April 27, 2014.
Felix, brother to Owen (who is also looking for a forever home), is a shy, but very sweet boy. Born feral, the brothers were rescued from the local humane society by TCR at 3 months old. At the time of rescue, the two were destined either for euthanasia at the shelter, or for a life outside, which is why they were ear-tipped for future identification that they had been sterilized. With patience and determination they have slowly been socialized with both people and other cats, and are doing really well in foster care, which has allowed them a chance to have a real home and family to love them.
Despite his timid demeanor, Felix is actually very easy to hold. He loves to lie on his back and have his tummy rubbed. He will purr and will even give affectionate kisses to your hands and face. He enjoys wrestling and play sessions with his brother, or can often be found displaying his softer side, curled up with one of the younger foster kittens, giving them an affectionate grooming.
Felix is in general a little shier than his brother, and would do best in a quiet household without young children. His ongoing socialization will require a special family who will be patient and gentle with him while he develops trust and becomes more confident and comfortable.
