Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB April 27, 2014.
Owen, brother to Felix (who is also looking for a forever home), has had a rather rough start in life. Born feral, the brothers were rescued from the local humane society by TCR at 3 months old. At the time of rescue, the two were destined either for euthanasia at the shelter, or for a life outside, which is why they were ear-tipped for future identification that they had been sterilized. With patience and determination they have slowly been socialized with both people and other cats, and are doing really well in foster care, which has allowed them a chance to have a real home and family to love them.
Despite this start, and the fact that he had to have to additional surgeries on his face and neck before he reached 4 months old, Owen is a tender and loving kitten. He likes being held and petted, and gives affectionate head boops. Like his brother, he also enjoys having his tummy rubbed, and a good kitten-
on-kitten wrestling match.
Owen is a little less shy than his brother, but is still a timid kitten who needs time to relax and gain confidence. He would do best in a quiet household with a patient and gentle family dedicated to helping him learn to fully trust people.
