My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Many of you will remember the picture of a small dog we shared on August 13th. His little face covered with scabs, blood and pus due to untreated mange. We had received quite a few messages asking if neglect charges were going to be filed against the previous "owner". Diego was adopted out by an independent rescuer. He was NEVER a BFF dog so we told by the police that his original rescuer had to be the one to bring charges against the owner. Sadly, no charges were filed.

The good news is Diego has been a part of the BFF family since August 13th and is doing amazing! He goes to the vet every week (just like Charlie) for the injection needed to treat his mange, He's an adorable 10lb, 6mth old, Toy Fox Terrier who loves everyone. He still has 5 more injections to go, but he's been neutered and he's ready to start his life over, only this time with a loving, caring family. Diego is looking for an active family to keep up with him and his go getter energy. Good with dogs and kids but will chase cats. Please Share Diego!
