My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rufus is one of the nicest dogs you'll ever meet! He appears to be a Bernese / Shepherd mix, weighs in at 85 pounds, and is about 5 years of age. The details of his past are a little unclear, but he seems to have been an SPCA dog at one time and was also living in downtown Montreal. Rufus is one of those special projects for us because he will be requiring corrective surgery on both hips, but his prognosis is excellent. This will be done and paid for by Kiko whether he is still in foster care or adopted, although we are hopeful that someone will fall for his charming and friendly personality so that he can recuperate with his forever family. Respectful children and other dogs are all fine with Rufus. He is such an easygoing and happy companion, and is sure not to disappoint potential adopters looking for a friendly family pet. All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed, tested for heartworm, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 ($275 for senior dogs and $125 for cats) and an adoption contract.
