Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Sadie is a well-behaved beagle girl, approx. 5 or 6 years old, and is fully vetted. She is spayed, microchipped, is current on vaccinations, tested heartworm negative, and has had a recent dental cleaning! She is house-trained, crate-trained and doggie-door trained. She is a 15" beagle with classic tri-coloring and a lovely, smooth coat that is low in maintenance.
Her previous owner passed away suddenly and Miss Sadie ended up in a shelter! What a sad way to treat a lady, and Miss Sadie most certainly IS a lady. She deserved so much better, and thankfully our organization was able to save her from the shelter just in the nick of time. She is a wonderful dog, always willing to please and wanting to follow the rules of the foster family's household. She waits patiently for her turn at treats, and she even comes when called (which is rare for a beagle!).
Miss Sadie likes going on leash walks, will jog along beside a bicycle for about a mile or so, enjoys riding in the car (sitting nicely on the back seat, looking calmly out the window), and she LOVES treats! In fact, she probably has had a few too many treats in her past, because she is somewhat overweight. Her foster mom has been working on that, and she has already lost about 3 pounds but could stand to lose another 3 or 4. She would love to be someone's walking buddy, which would help her toward that goal!
