Tater's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Tater's Story...
Born in Idaho, this sweet red and white boy needs YOU! He has been in six different homes in short 7 years of life…no fault of his own. Divorce, babies arriving, and eating the garden are some of the reasons he was returned to CBR. Tate is a mellow guy who will play at times too. He loves it when you’re home and is great with other dogs. Not sure we’d recommend letting him loose in your tomato garden! He is housebroken and quiet. Tater is taller than some beagles due to his long, graceful legs. If you have a cushy bed by a window, he’s in heaven! If you’re interested in adopting him…and we mean forever….please complete our adoption application which can be found under the Adoption tab at the top of this page. His adoption fee is $275.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tater, a Portland Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
