Simon's Story...
Two little boys dumped at a nasty shelter by a local breeder. These little guys are only 7 to 8 weeks old now and totally adorable. We have been told that they are purebred pups. When they are grown they will be good sized boys weighing well over 60 lbs. Dillion and Simon are your typical little puppies who love to wrestle and play with each other and then crash on the fluffy comforter in their crate for a nap. They are in a wonderful foster home now getting all the attention and nurturing they need to grow up to be well socialized boys. Simon is the most curious and independent while Dillion is the most laid back. They are busy, happy, playful pups and when their foster mom sits on the floor with them - puppy kisses galore ! Dillion and Simon are both up to date on vaccinations for their age and will be micro-chipped. If you would like to learn more about how one of these boys could be a member of your family, please complete the online adoption application and indicate 'Dillion or Simon' in the notes section. They are the cutest little boys and would make a wonderful addition to any home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simon, a Salem Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
