My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I have a song in my heart, and I want to share with you. It’s a lovely tune, quite soothing… reminds me of soft grey drizzle and a cozy winter flannel. One that warms your heart and holds you tight like crazy glue. Oh, when I think of our future together, I hear such lovely music in my heart! Like any true artist worth their salt I have some quirks that separate me from the status quo (what, I may not have thumbs to strum a guitar but I am an artist none the less! A companionship artist!). Now, I wouldn't say I am eccentric, maybe just a little unconventional…I know when you think of a Labrador you think of happy-go-lucky, neighborhood bbq, love-everybody goof ball. Well, that not quite me, and I would love to find a family that can embrace me for who I am. I feel that is the key to any lasting relationship, acceptance. Even though that’s my weak point. See I love my family dearly and am not real comfortable with strangers, so if you appreciate a loyal, devoted protector I’m the man for you. I just can’t accept cats for their snooty behavior and lack of imagination but I do get along well with all the other dogs here and am well versed in doggy playgroups, just don’t ask me to share my bones with them. I know that I jive better respectful teens 12+, so no youngsters for me. People who know to take it slow, then speed up the tempo once we trust eachother- we’ll be playing my favorite game of fetch and taking car rides in no time! I am already housebroken too and have been learning the art of crate etiquette, I’d say I’m pretty close to mastering it. There is always that next great adventure right around the corner, I guess I am just searching for those special people who want to join me. Oh, just think of the music we can make together! 2 years old-65lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes: microchip, neuter, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.
