Gage's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Gage's Story...
Gage is 9 months old and weighs 90+ pounds. He is going to be a big boy when fully grown. Gage is a gentle and obedient boy, but can be dominant if allowed to be, typical adolescent behavior. He seems to have had some obedience training prior to coming into rescue. Gage will require an adopter with previous experience raising a big dog. He is polite with food, resources, sits patiently waiting to be leashed, and loves to be petted. He is respectful of other dogs. Due to his age and size, no children. If you would like to be considered for Gage, contact for an application is Beth at kaya1227@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gage, a Frederick Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
