My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

9-10 y/o shy male, $50 adoption fee

Taiyosan is a sweet, but fearful fellow that needs time and space before he will warm up to people. He is looking for a family that will be patient and allow him to come out of his shell at his own pace. Ty knew his foster previously, but still needed time to warm back up to her--he will now approach her for pets again, but it took a few weeks.

Taiyosan likes other dogs and will follow them around, but he doesn't play with them. He was fine with cats when first taken in to rescue. We have not tested with children, but he is likely too shy for small kids. A calmer household would be best. Ty walks really well on leash and can live in an apartment; apartment complexes on super busy/noisy streets might be a little too stressful for him.

Taiyosan's adoption fee is $50 and includes his microchip, vaccinations, de-worming and heartworm test. Approved application and home visit required for all Colorado Shiba Inu Rescue dogs. Applications can be completed online: www.coloradoshibainurescue.org
