Suzy Q's Story...
SUZY Q • This beautiful girl is just a puppy of about 11 months. She is an absolute LOVEBUG. She is very toy and treat driven, and easy to train because of it. She does well with potty, and is a super happy, bouncy girl. Rides great in the car, and loves meeting new people. She is not a barker, and her facial expressions are ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS. She is not reactive to other dogs, BUT - she doesn't always like to share her food and toys with other dogs, so we are working with her on that, and believe that since she is just a kid that issue can be corrected. This girl would make a wonderful family dog for an active family – she’s easy, and she's RARIN' To go! Quick video: If you think Suzy Q would be the perfect addition to your active family, please fill out our online application to get the approval process started....If you would like to meet Suzie Q, please fill out an adoption application to start the process.

All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many of our volunteers juggle family, full-time careers and time at Saving Paws. Please give some consideration to them and allow us 48 hours to return calls.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suzy Q, a Phoenix German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
