My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Faust! There best words we can use to describe Faust are sweet, lovable, goofball! Faust has never met anyone he didn't like. He also loves other dogs, and has been exposed to many different dogs while in foster care. Faust was rescued from a high kill shelter in SC. Our volunteer got a call about a dog who was going to be put down that day if he was not rescued. The woman at the shelter said he was too sweet to die so young. Our volunteer ran down to the rescue, and fell in love with Faust. We estimate his age to be a year old, if that. He weighs about 50 lbs right now, but he could stand to gain a little weight. He was extremely skinny when pulled from the shelter. Faust has a lot of puppy energy, and he loves to play with humans and other dogs. He will definitely keep you entertained with his antics. He has come a long way learning house manners and what is expected from him. Faust also walks well on a leash tho he will pull if something interests him. He is housebroken, and knows how to sit, He has almost mastered giving a "high five!" Faust has also been crate trained. He will go right in his crate when asked. Long periods in a crate would not be ideal for him, however, as he is still a puppy and needs to work off some of that energy. Faust appears to be mostly German Shepherd. We are not sure what he may be mixed with, but he is a very good looking guy. He would do very well with an active family, or a family with an active dog who loves to play. He has shown he is a smart boy and learns quickly. He just needs to find a family who will love him forever so his life never hangs by a thread again. If you are looking for a sweet, goofy, lovable boy, Faust is your boy! He was saved just hours before he was going to die, and deserves a forever home with a loving family. If you are the person/family who can show this sweet, loving baby what it means to be part of a fun, forever family, please email for an adoption application. An application is not a commitment, so email today to request one if you are even a little interested!
