Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Camembert, a 9 week old puppy who we were told is a German Shepherd/hound dog mix. Along with his assorted 7 brothers and sisters, he has just arrived at Adopt A Pet. He weighed about 8 1/2 pounds on Labor Day. His first foster home says this about him: "He's the smallest male of the litter, a little shyer and more reserved than his bigger brothers and sisters. He is very friendly, and loves to snuggle in your lap and give puppy kisses. A real sweetheart!"
Like all young puppies, Camembert needs a family where someone is home part or all day, who will commit to house-training and then obedience training. If you have the time to invest, this guy won't disappoint!
You can meet Camembert at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750). Although you may want to adopt him on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.
Camembert's adoption fee of $350 includes: vet exam, distemper combo and bordetella vaccinations, deworming, flea and tick preventative, microchip and neuter.
