Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Feta, a 9 week old puppy who we were told is a German Shepherd/hound dog mix. Along with her assorted 7 brothers and sisters, she has just arrived at Adopt A Pet. Feta is the smallest female of the litter, and weighed 8 1/2 pounds on Labor Day. Her first foster home had this to say about her: "Feta is a real character! She sang all through the night when she first arrived. She is very outgoing and very vocal--sometimes she seems frustrated that you can't understand what she's saying! She loves attention and also loves to play with her big brothers. She is a very smart girl who has quickly learned to potty outdoors."
Like all young puppies, Feta needs a family where someone is home part or all day, who will commit to house-training and then obedience training. If you have the time to invest, this little girl won't disappoint!
You can meet Feta at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750). Although you may want to adopt him on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.
Feta's adoption fee of $350 includes: vet exam, distemper combo and bordetella vaccinations, deworming, flea and tick preventative, microchip and spay.
