Betsy's Story...
Betsy's song: "Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground"

"Hi, my name is Betsy, and I know that love's the greatest healer to be found."

Abandoned by her first people in a high kill southern shelter, Betsy was visibly heartbroken when she arrived at the home of her foster family. It took a few days, but this wonderful family patched up Betsy's broken wing, and now this gorgeous pyrador is flying around their back yard with her two lab boyfriends, and gleefully tearing the stuffing out of soft toys, and curling up on the sofa with her foster Dad. Betsy is smart, easy-going, affectionate, well-behaved, protective of her foster home, and deeply grateful for the chance to love again. Please be an angel and give this angel a permanent home. You could ask for no sweeter companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a Redding Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Redding, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Redding.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redding already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redding breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redding paves the way for another one to be saved.
