My story

Breed: Shepherd mix
Age: ~2 years
Weight: 82 lbs
Good with: dogs yes * cat's (dog savvy maybe) * kids yes
House trained: yes
Crate trained: Working on it

This handsome man is Bubba!! He was found on the side of a South Carolina road with another dog who had passed away. Despite this, he is a happy dog who would love a home of his own. He is submissive with other dogs, fine with cats and loves kids! Notes from Bubba himself via his foster momma... "Hey my name is Bubba, I was found on the interstate in Charlotte in the pouring rain. A nice lady stopped and picked me up, and took me to her house. I'm not fond of her hardwood floors but I'm starting to get use to them. She took me to the vet who said I'm about 2 years old an a shepard, chow, corgi mix and I weigh 82 lbs...(I'm a big boy who doesn't look that big). I love to ride in the car. I'm a submissive fellow, I haven't found another dog I didn't like but I don't like when they jump at me or if they are too hyper it scares me so to the ground I go. I like cats through a window but up close I want to chase them!! I haven't had one accident in the house since the day I was found. I don't like this crate she keeps putting me in, when I stay out I never mess up a thing so why the crate? My previous owners weren't to nice to me... I'm scared if you pet my belly or move your foot to fast towards me. I'm not aggressive at all, I could care less if you put your hands in my food. I like kids they pet my head. I'm not a fan of chew toys but I do like pork femur bones. I'm working on learning how to sit, I don't know my basic commands yet. I love if you whistle at me, it makes me happy my ears go up and the tail wags. Once I learn to trust you I'm very eager to please, I'll let you pet my belly then. I would really like a home with kids or someone who can stay home with me, I just like having a friend." Please note we can only foster or adopt to MA or NH.
