Louie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Louie's Story...
Louie is a 4 year old Yorkshire Terrier / Schnauzer mix neutered male. He does not appear to get along with male dogs and if you have a female dog we recommend a meet and greet before adopting to make sure they get along. He is very friendly to people though! Come down and visit with Louie today!

$150 Adoption Fee for all Dogs and Puppies. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, a heartworm/lymes test (for adults), microchip, and all age appropriate vaccinations. (Puppies are too young for the test but will be started on preventative.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Staunton Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue.
