Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a 3-month-old female German Shepherd mix puppy. Right now I weigh about 11 pounds, but I’ve got some growing to do. I’m probably going to be on the lower end of the 30-50 pound range. It’s hard for my human friends to say for sure though because they never saw my parents. Temperament wise, I’m exactly what you would expect from a puppy my age. I’m playful, energetic, inquisitive, happy, and very friendly with people and other dogs. I just love making new friends! Wouldn’t you agree that I’m also pretty darn cute?! Here’s a little background information on me. I was picked up as a stray and brought to a local high-kill shelter. I was a pretty skinny, but other than that, I seemed healthy. So, I was listed for adoption. The shelter was a weird, scary place to be, but I was happy to at least be fed on a regular basis. I spent a little over a week sitting in my run with no one coming to adopt me. But then, on the 8th day of my stay, a family decided to pull the trigger and take me home! I thought I had found my forever home, but sadly my new family changed their mind about adopting a puppy and promptly returned me to the shelter. Can you believe that? I was devastated. But I guess it was meant to be because that very same day CageFree heard about me and made the decision to rescue me and bring me into their rescue. I was so unbelievably happy! Some volunteers at the pound told me that once you leave there to go to CageFree you never have to come back. Best day ever! Instead of being in a run all by myself, I now spend my days at CageFree playing with my puppy friends. We thoroughly enjoy wrestling together, playing with toys, and sleeping with one another.
