Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful people at the Del Norte County Animal Control located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a coastal city on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs cant come outside and play.
We want you to see some really great dogs that they have in their care--it's just a 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new BFF! * please note that occasionally there are volunteers who can assist with transporting the dog from the shelter to Grants Pass/Eugene/Salem/Portland *
MEET NESTLE!!
This boy is your typical Lab. He loves to chase, he loves to play, and especially loves to go on walks. He is a little excitable at first, but calms down quickly, and he already even knows some of his basic manners like "sit", "down" and "shake"! Nestle wouldn't mind another female dog or some older kids in his new home to be his new play buddies, because he does after all...LOVE to play! He's a wonderful companion who would make a great addition to any active family.
Nestle will probably do best in a home where he has plenty of room to run and a family who will make sure he is exercised enough so he can get all his energy out.
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Adoption fees are between $15 - $95 depending on if the dog has been previously altered and if you are adopting in Del Norte County or out of the county.
