Beautiful Lady Vanessa has a regal and special name because she is seriously special herself. Sitting atop her pet bed, she is happy and at home! But Vanessa is ready now to move on to her own forever family! Vanessa is a beautiful 2 year old mix of Lemon Walker Hound and Labrador retriever and she weighs 48lbs. Vanessa has the most gorgeous eyes and softest coat of sable and cream; and has the coolest spots on her coat. This sweet and social Lady was rescued from the streets of Seattle after she was found wondering in a neighborhood where the homeowners helped feed her and get her to safety. When no owner was found they contacted the RAIN girls and we adopted her to a nice family in the area 6 months ago. Unfortunately this family can no longer keep her…so sweet Lady Vanessa is again looking for her forever home. “LV” is GREAT WITH KIDS! Her first family has two small children (4 and six) and she is terrific with them. She allows the kids to lay on her and smoosh on her and give her lots of kid love! Lady is a great watchdog too, she will give you a warning bark to let you know when someone not familiar is close by. Miss Vanessa loves people, she can’t get enough of being around YOU. She loves affection and attention and is a real “pleaser” girl- so is easily trained! Lady Vanessa is crate trained, but will need some help from you when she gets anxious and excited in her crate. It’s not a super big deal, she just needs some patience and settles down in a few minutes. Vanessa is an energetic, athletic hound-lab who will make a great exercise partner. She loves her daily walks and maybe a run, and settles down easily in the house. She is excellent in the house and loves her pet bed and hanging in the house – especially enjoying to be right at your feet. Lady loves her toys, and will throw them in the air herself to catch! She is very smart and learns quickly, so all you have to do is provide the structure for her to get her basic skills to perfection! She loves car rides and beach walks and outdoor experiences too! If Lady could tell you what she wanted in her next forever home it would be an active family with children to play with her in a nice fenced yard; and who are affectionate and snuggly with her. Lady would love a family who got her out and about for energy outlets, but who also had regular movie nights and awesome snuggle times! Vanessa is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Awesome Vanessa is currently in the Seattle area and available to meet right away. Her re-homing fee is $300.
