Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barbara, aka Barbie, came to the rescue from Yuma where she was saved from a sad life. About 3 or 4 years old, Barbie spent her short life outside in a pen with only a cardboard box thrown in for shelter from heat and cold. We can only imagine how scared and lonely she must have been. Despite the sad beginnings, Barbie is full of love and happiness. With wonderful "in house manners," Barbie is a real delight! She loves to sleep in bed with you or on a pillow next to your bed. We do not kennel Barbie. She knows how to use the doggy door, but still needs to be taken out on a regular basis. This little girl's tail never stops! While Barbie does get along with other small dogs, she is on the submissive side and would do well as an only dog or with one other dog that is not overly dominant, no large dogs. She would probably do ok with children over the age of 10. For more information contact Sindy (at sindymiller0211@gmail.com) on how to adopt Barbara or visit www.azchihuahuarescue.org
