My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oliver was found living on the streets. We took Oliver into our rescue and worked on getting him well. He had an injured foot that the vet cared for and he is healing with no side effects of the injury.

He is a sweet and loving dog. He walks well on the leash and is good with other dogs and people.

He seems happier now that he is getting some much needed TLC, good food, and socialization. He is shy around other dogs at first, but when he finds out that everyone is friendly, he warms up quickly.

He has done wonderfully in the house and is house and crate trained now. What a fast learner! He is not destructive but has hoarded a few household things on his bed. We think everything is new to him so he is not sure what toys are versus other things.

Oliver is understandably timid and a little standoffish at first, but he has made such improvements over a short time that we feel he will be coming out of his shell more and more.
