Jack's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jack's Story...
Jack was originally found homeless by an older couple in Tennessee (3rd & 4th attachments). They could not keep Jack due to their medical issues and two older dogs. Their daughter, who lives in Charlotte & does independent rescue, took Jack in so she could find him a loving, forever home. Jack is approximately 5 months old (as of Sept 2014) and fully vetted (vaccinated, combo blood test, neutered, micro-chipped, etc). He is a healthy, spunky fun-loving kitten and would love a home of his own. Loves to run around and is pretty good at occupying himself with toys. Does get along with other cats but is full of energy that an older cat may not handle well. Indoor only home a MUST ~ Application & modest adoption fee apply.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Monroe Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
