My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This happy little girl, Lulu, is one of our non-bully residents at the shelter for you see, we do not discriminate. She came to us as a small pup from BARC, the city shelter in very bad condition. First of all, her front legs were so deformed and weak that she could not even stand without them buckling underneath her. Her pure white coat appeared to be speckled with small black dots but in reality, she was that infested with fleas. After fighting off a severe upper respiratory infection, Ms. Lulubelle began to physically improve. Within a few weeks, her little legs straightened out and Lulu began to run and play like a normal pup.
Lulu went to live in a foster home and her mom ended up wanting to keep her as her own companion. This little one went on to complete her Canine Good Citizen certification. But she does not have a happy ever after ending. Due to no fault of her own, Lulu was returned to the rescue because of her owner's work obligations. So here we are looking for that furever home for the lovable, bouncing, energetic Lulu.
