My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Allie! Allie is an 8 year old girl, she weighs about 60 pounds. Allie needs to gain a few pounds, right now she's very thin. Allie has spent her last 8 years being a mom, because of that she was not exposed to everything that other dogs are used to. She is a bit scared (and fascinated) with everything! She's like a puppy in and eight year old body. It is a joy to see her so happy in a home. She seems so grateful for everything she is given.

Allie loves petting and attention. She is definitely a companion dog and wants to be right by your side all day long. She does great with other dogs and loves to go for walks. She is very well behaved. She can be trusted alone in the house when we are gone. She is mostly potty trained but still needs to learn how to ask to go out.

Allie is a typical Golden with a sweet disposition. She wants so badly for someone to love her as much as she will love them. She will make a wonderful family member for someone who will take the time and have the patience to help her overcome her fears and teach her how to trust.

Allie will need to go to a home with a 6 foot fence and she'll do best in a home with another confident large breed dog.
