My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BABOO and LUCY are two magnificent cats. Their person is moving where cats are not allowed.

BABOO is a 8-year-old long-haired mitted seal-point Himalayan with white paws and tux, and blue eyes. His fur shades from dark brown on the points and tail to medium brown and tan on the rest of him. He weighs 18 pounds, but he is big-boned, not fat. He is docile and does not mind being held. He loves pats on the head and chin scratches, and will nibble your hand when he has had enough.

LUCY is a 7-year-old short-haired seal-point Snowshoe, with white paws and tux and “inverted V” blaze, and blue eyes. Her fur has lovely gradations of brown tones, complemented by the white trim. Lucy weighs 22 pounds and she is……FAT. She is slightly more timid than Baboo but likes to be patted.

These two have been friends since kittenhood, and they like to cuddle on the couch and play with each other. They also have lived with a dog.

Although initially scared by being brought to a shelter, they are sweet cats doing their best to adjust to their situation. They would like to be placed together, hopefully in a home where exercise will be a priority.

Baboo may need some dental work, which would be done prior to adoption. Lucy has some ongoing nasal issues, which have been evaluated, but these don’t seem to bother her (she possibly may require low dust, non-clay litter).
