My story

Say hello to Vixen, a Carolina Dog being fostered in FL with her foster sister who is also a Carolina Dog! Vixen is around 2 years old, weighs 47 lbs. and will come to you fully vetted, spayed, and ready to call you her new family!

She was abandoned at a shelter in FL and we pulled her to safety because she was so scared....we weren't even sure she was a Carolina Dog!! After seeing a few pictures of her relaxed and checking things out - we knew we had a beautiful little Carolina Dog added to our rescue!!
Her foster Mom and pack have shown her how to trust again and we would like her to find her forever family. Vixen can be a little shy at first but she warms up quickly. Cats can be tricky, so we're looking for a home for her without them. She could easily be an 'only dog', devoting all of her love to her humans - but she does need an active home that will keep her in shape and understand the intelligence of this breed.

At a recent event for Carolina Dogs in South Carolina, the founder of the breed said she was a great example of the breed and she placed very well in their mock show - we're extremely proud of our sweet little Vixen!!
