Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cutie-pa-Tootie
Debbie was found running along Hwy 59 south of Cleveland. Not even2 years old and she had already nursed at least 1 litter of puppies and become infected with heart worms. Debbie is 13 inches tall and a perfect 20 pounds. She is the picture of a healthy young girl now that she has completed treatment and recovery.
Debbie was a little shy when she first came to her foster home. The large pack of beagles was a little intimidating, but she is a tough little cookie and was soon wrestling with the best of them! She loves to play chase now that she is off restrictions. Her house manners are good. Debbie is housebroken, crate trained and seemed to know how to use the dog door from the start. She loves chasing after balls. She will play by herself by batting it with her foot and then chasing it down! She is never aggressive about food. She waits her turn at treats and dinner. Her barking is rare. She would be quiet enough to live in an apartment, if given plenty of exercise.
When Debbie looks at you with those big brown eyes, your heart will melt. She has such longing to be loved in her expression. She will cuddle up next to you but is still a little uncomfortable about being picked up. Debbie does give a sweetest little kisses that you could ever hope for. She loves to sleep on your bed at night, but rarely is a bed hog and will sleep on a dog bed if told to. Debbie needs a family of her own with a canine companion to spend her days with if everyone works. She would be fine with kids of all ages.
