This Willie a tri-colored chihuahua/min pin mix that is estimated to be about 2.5 years old. He loves to wrestle and play with his foster brother. He came from a traumatic past experience where he was terrorized by the kids in his home. He is very timid in new situations. He will need time and TLC to adjust to a new environment.
Willie requires a home with no children, a fenced in yard and another small dog who will help him learn to trust. He does not currently walk on a leash to potty and could take off if frightened so a secure fenced in yard is mandatory.
We currently adopt in the states of CA, NY, NJ, PA, DE, and MD. We can not accept applications from other states at this time.
If you are interested in applying for this dog, please fill out our adoption application which you can find on our website at www.dutchcountryanimalrescue.org/adopt.html
Our adoption fees are on our application.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and DHPP, heartworm tested, treated for worms and fleas and most are microchipped.
We are not a shelter, we are 100% volunteer public charity. All of our dogs are in foster homes until they are adopted. Since we are not a shelter, we do not receive government funding. We are a public charity that relies solely on funds through our adoption fee, fundraisers, and private donations. Since we are 100% volunteer based, all funds collected go directly towards the rescue and vet costs of our dogs.
We take each rescue personally and spend a lot of effort trying to match the right dog to the right family. Thank you for considering one of our rescued dogs.
