My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Davey came to rescue when a woman found him as a stray and tried for several weeks to find his owner with no luck. She really liked him and wanted to keep him but she has small children and he weighs only 4 pounds so it wasn't really a safe situation. You can see that Davey is a gorgeous long coat chihuahua. We think that Davey will do best in a quiet home, with or without other dogs for company. He seems to fall in love with a human and that is his person at first. Any other occupants of the home will be loved later. I'm the 'loved later' gal. He adored my roommate immediately and he finally likes me, too. If you are looking for a great companion, this is your guy. He follows you around the house and likes to sleep with his person - he's attentive but not obnoxiously so. He gets along fine with the other dogs in his foster home. We think that Davey is about 3 years old. Davey is neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative, is microchipped and has had a dental cleaning. His adoption fee is $200 with all vet work done.
