Patches's Story...
Hi my name is Patches! I'm a cuddly and adorable 6 month old male kitten with gorgeous amber eyes and gray patches, hence my name. I've been hanging out in a "foster home" with dogs, cats and even a little human, who is my BFF. I'm super playful and love to run around, play and chase things. But I also love to cuddle up on the couch, in your lap or take naps on the window ledge with the sun warming me. I would really love to find a forever home with another pet or kids. I play nice with everyone! HI my name is Patches, but my foster family's nickname for me is Detroit because I PURRRR like a motor and Detroit is the "Motor City". I am a purring addict, and love to get pets and purrrrrrr.

I'm neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and FIV FeLV negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
