Mike D (Beastie Boy kitten)'s Story...
Mike D is a handsome boy looking for a family to entertain! At just 16 weeks, he is already showing off his wonderful personality. Not only does he love to play (particularly with string toys and mini mice), but he is also quite the cuddle bug ☺ Mike D will jump right up into your lap for snuggles and lots of purring. As much as he loves to wrestle with his siblings, Mike D is very people-oriented so he would do fine as a single kitten. Mike D is neutered, current on his shots, FIV/FeLV negative, and is microchipped. He is being fostered in Brookline and his adoption fee is $200 ($350 for a pair of kittens).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mike D (Beastie Boy kitten), a Worcester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
