Chiclet's Story...
Little Chiclet was lucky enough to be born in the safety of our sanctuary in Mexico, after both his parents were rescued, his mother heavily pregnant. The caregivers at the sanctuary describe Chiclet as being a calm and cuddly guy, who loves to sit on your lap and give kisses. He is good with all the dogs he meets, and acts submissive towards them. He also is ok with cats. Chiclet is 5 months old and weighs just over 9 pounds. His dad is a Chihuahua & his mother is a little terrier. He is neutered, dewormed and up to date on vaccinations. He has made his journey from the sanctuary to foster care in Edmonton AB, where he is looking for his loving forever home. If you would like to add Chiclet as a treasured member of your family, please contact us for an adoption application. Email info.pvca@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chiclet, a Edmonton Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
